From Russia with love

So tomorrow morning I'll be on a plane to Russia. I'm supposed to be packing right now but I'm procrastinating. My mind is slowly organizing the things I need to bring so I'm not worried. :)

This trip has been a lifelong goal. Its a trip that I've always wanted to take. Its one of those dreams you don't really think will happen. When I was a kid I always wanted to travel but I had no concept of what that meant. The trips we took were cross country car rides to see grandparents. It was always lots of fun but its nothing like taking a trip to Europe.

Sometimes this world seems like a big place, but right now it seems like everywhere is close and accessible. Being single and successful I realize I have more options that most people do. Russia is not too far away. And maybe its sickly sweet and cliche... but it helps me feel that maybe none of my dreams are too far away. :)

Life is good.
